Most racing games ship with generic engine-and-synth music. HyperLeaque plays Afrobeats and Afro-dancehall while you drive, and you can listen free in your browser.

What plays

Each race starts with JAMES BOND by SpacoG, which runs for about 90 seconds with a fade at the end. After it, other Afrobeats tracks play in rotation. The artist and a Spotify link are shown for each song so you can find more of their music. Listen to James Bond on Spotify.

Billboards beside the road

In the games you will see billboards for the featured artist and for brands. They are part of the scenery, so they are not tappable during a race.

Music, engine and effects

The songs sit under the car sound, so engines, tyres and crashes stay clear. There is a music button in the game menu to turn the songs off if you prefer silence or want to use your own playlist.

Set the mood with the tracks

  • Lagos Island: night streets and neon suit Afrobeats well.
  • Lasgidi Rush: Lagos delivery missions, told in Nigerian Pidgin.
  • Ridgeline: a quieter mountain drive.
